#WIP #LiveStory coming January 2014. Subscribe for updates, share, retweet and enjoy… #Betrayed #CityBoysSeries #amreading

I’ve been off the horse for a long while.

A very long while and I know you guys have been clamouring for a live story.

This one’s a little different delivery though.

Instead of delivery it straight on the site, I’m going to deliver it in pieces.

Now you can wait for each piece ot be delivered or read as each one is published.

Here’s the first piece:

Betrayed

A City Boys Series

by Sylva Hubbard

Jordyn finds out her past isn’t the truth and that she’s been living a lie. Doing the only thing that will keep her sanity, she leaves her family and strikes out on her own, trying to live an honest life.

Yet, when her family seeks revenge and she is joined in the fight to get it, she finds, sometimes one has to leave the past where it should stay – buried.

As more and more secrets come to light, Jordyn is sucked back into her old world, where getting everything means losing everything.

Note From Author:

This book is a live book. Meaning, it’s written and released. Editing is a dry run and mostly you’re getting the story itself. Each release will be .99 cents and will contain at least 10,000 words, except the first part which is free. That’s just to get you hooked.

The Cytee Boys is a family of men who work on the bad side of the law, but only for the money and is a preliminary book for King’s Paradise and Stealing Innocence III: Lethal Heart. There will also be a character named Bishop James who will be introduced in my first teen book coming out way later than anything else but that’s another story.

I will tell you now, no Nevada is not getting with Kansas Cytee because I know that’s going to be asked.

Any discussion questions can be asked at my blog, https://sylviahubbard.com/blog. There will be post for each part. Answer your questions about the story on any post with the name of the book please. That helps me and also helps other readers who might be asking the same question.

Each “Book” consist of a different sibling story, but each part to the books will consist of several chapter of that book.

The key to understand the orders of each book, will be watching for each “part.” I might get lazy and write B1-P3, which means book one, part three. As always I’ll be open for content and I hope to open up 2014 as a year where I’ll get a lot more writing done.

2013 was a rough year for me and I want to thank all my Sneaker Readers for their support for all my literary endeavors. You guys were promoting me even when I was too mentally exhausted to promote myself.

I really appreciate and love the fact that you did this for me.

betrayed

And now the question is asked, when is the next book coming out.

I’m going to produce a part every week. (Unless life gets in the way and we should be done by February or March.)

Like I said, the first part is free. The ones after that will be .99 cents. I’ll make them thick enough to make it worth your dollar.

Thank you in advance for your support.

You can subscribe to this post below after making a comment or you can make sure you are subscribed to this website because a post will be released about the book.

Oh, btw, can you tell me if you like the cover? It’s only a temp cover so I didn’t want to just… well, just tell me what you think. (biting my lip in nervousness.)

2 amazing reader reviews for #Lovelikethis #amreading

I’ve been overly overjoyed with the success of downloads on Love Like This.

Now even though it’s free, I still find it fascinating how people have taken this book and just shared it all over the world.

Love Like This was a playful novel for me, but if this is what gets readers to read, then you bet your sweet butt, i think I’m going to jump on the psuedo -family relations romance boat like a mofo.

(That last statement was kinda confusing even to me, but i just left it there and maybe it’ll make sense in a couple of year.)

Men You Love To Hate Part II: Where Do I Start? #ReaderQuestion #amreading #SneakReader

Hello and welcome back to The Literary World of Sylvia Hubbard.

I receive questions all day long and if you’ve sent me some, I’m sorry I haven’t “tackled” yours yet. I read them, it’s just hard to really sit down and formulate how to answer them without giving away a good story that’s in the works.

Dear Sylvia

First off, I love your books. I started reading your books about six years ago when I was pregnant with my third child and I fell in love from the first page. Once I was done, I went to the next and the next. I wanted them all and I couldn’t read fast enough.

Now that I’ve read them all, I see you’ve weaved characters through your books that appears in other books and I want to go back and read them in some type of order.

Other than the Heart Family chart, I’m trying to read by family and I need you to help me. Where do I start?

Good Question:

My answer… I don’t know.

My brain works like a movie player that’s constantly running stories that tie in with all the characters’ lives. As you see Armando’s sometimes getting back from his “long vacation” or he’s about t leave on a long vacation, or he suddenly up and disappeared in the middle of the book and sent in his partner to finish up his business.

So I really couldn’t answer your question to what order to read the books UNLESS the book specifically states Book One or Series One (As in the case of Dark Façade or The Black Family Series.) Now the But if you’re reading a book and you come across

I’ve put together some of the men in my books to give you an idea where everyone goes.

The Black Family Series

Ethan                    James

Xavier                   Axel                       Phelix

The Bellini Family (Stone lineage, included)

  • Chart coming soon

The Heart Family

The Lott Brothers

  • Tyrone & Jerome

Upcoming Series

The City Boys (Series coming soon w/some introduced in Mistaken Identity III & Stealing Innocence III: The Ravishment)

  • Kansas
  • Austin
  • Lincoln & Trenton (twins)
  • Phoenix (sister)
  • Jackson

A new chart for the Heart Family is coming soon but again I can’t post until right before Stealing Innocence III due to the fact I have some highly intelligent readers and they’ll figure out the plot before I write the book.

Now I know I’m missing the boys from Mistaken Identity III also, but I’ll get to that when I finish up that book.

If you guys have more to add, please feel free to correct me in the comments or add what you feel is necessary.

Check out the bookstore for the books you don’t have. Collect them all because you never know what you’re missing.

You are author of this book.

I really enjoyed this book. I found the numerous typos and grammatical errors distracting at times but overall, it was a great book. The story was complex and compelling. The lead characters were great. I was on an emotional roller coaster with this book but I couldn’t put it down. This was my first time reading anything from this author but it won’t be my last!

This was my second book by Ms Hubbard, the first being The Mysterious Mr Black. I have to say that Ideally liked this one better. Since I am not familiar with all the characters in the Heart/Black world, the book was easier follow. I didn’t have to keep the assorted secondary characters straight while enjoying the primary characters and plot. I liked the main characters and story. The end was satisfying and worth staying up late to finish the book. I’d love to know what happens to the Newmans in the future, which is my indicator of a really good book.

Lawd they just keep getting better and betta! Sterling and Xavier and many others in Miss Sylvia books, are man you just love to hate or hate so much you end up loving them. Blair like most of you women in Miss Hubbard’s novels, have been through so much and still in up stronger and helping others. This one was a emotional roller coaster, your heart will go out to them. You will be pissed, hurt and then laugh and cry. Then still want more, I am a fan for life. Miss Hubbard is that author that when you hear she have a new book out you just buy it, hell you know you won’t be disappointed. I really want to find the order these books go in so I can read them over right lol. MUST READ!

#DarkFacade Book 4 Coming soon | Updates & Partial Book Cover Reveal #Sneakreaders #amreading #amwriting

Life as we know it for me has been a bit difficult.

Uncomfortable.

Not only am I struggling to get into a house because currently my family and I are homeless (but staying with my father, which is a tale in itself), I’m also going through the gambit with men and my writing life. I’ve also started a new job that’s consuming all mental activities and making me really exhausted once I get home.

I’m suppose to be finishing up the edits to His Substitute Wife, but I had to put it down to get the house done. On top of that, I need to finish off Dark Facade Book Four.

I just need to work out the last part. I figured out who killed Lisa and I’ve pretty much wrapped up how I’m going to use Onyx, while slipping in a little bit more about what’s going on in her life – you know with Blaque & Shadow.

(Currently listening to The Tourist with Johnny Depp and I keep typing their lines.)

Also I’m working with @paytonleaf on the final book cover for Dark Facade.

Coming up with a fresh and final book concept to tie all the other books together is very difficult.

I really had planned on book three being the final and leaving it at that, but so much story line had to be put in book four so this is all new.

For this book cover, I thought to concentrate on the rugged Philippe. I hardly have men on my cover and I wanted to do something just a little bit different.

Low-key portrait of scary man with evil eyes
partial book cover for #DarkFacade Book 4

I’m going to incorporate some elements from book one and three into this one and go from there. Wish me luck and thank you for your patience.

Now that I’m 80% moved into my home – kids still need beds and I have other things around the house that need to be worked on (a roof, a basement, a kitchen and so forth) I think I can sit down enough to hack out all the notes I’ve made on scrapes of paper, on my phone and @Evernote (my most favorite app for writers in the world).

Next post will be by this Thursday when I’ll have an excerpt of the book available for you – my loyal #SneakReaders.

Make sure you’re subscribed to this blog.

Have you caught up with all the others books? Have you left a review? Have you shared with other readers?
