Hello and welcome back to The Literary World of Sylvia Hubbard.
I receive questions all day long and if you’ve sent me some, I’m sorry I haven’t “tackled” yours yet. I read them, it’s just hard to really sit down and formulate how to answer them without giving away a good story that’s in the works.
Dear Sylvia
First off, I love your books. I started reading your books about six years ago when I was pregnant with my third child and I fell in love from the first page. Once I was done, I went to the next and the next. I wanted them all and I couldn’t read fast enough.
Now that I’ve read them all, I see you’ve weaved characters through your books that appears in other books and I want to go back and read them in some type of order.
Other than the Heart Family chart, I’m trying to read by family and I need you to help me. Where do I start?
Good Question:
My answer… I don’t know.
My brain works like a movie player that’s constantly running stories that tie in with all the characters’ lives. As you see Armando’s sometimes getting back from his “long vacation” or he’s about t leave on a long vacation, or he suddenly up and disappeared in the middle of the book and sent in his partner to finish up his business.
So I really couldn’t answer your question to what order to read the books UNLESS the book specifically states Book One or Series One (As in the case of Dark Façade or The Black Family Series.) Now the But if you’re reading a book and you come across
I’ve put together some of the men in my books to give you an idea where everyone goes.

Xavier Axel Phelix
The Bellini Family (Stone lineage, included)
- Chart coming soon
The Heart Family
The Lott Brothers
- Tyrone & Jerome
Upcoming Series
The City Boys (Series coming soon w/some introduced in Mistaken Identity III & Stealing Innocence III: The Ravishment)
- Kansas
- Austin
- Lincoln & Trenton (twins)
- Phoenix (sister)
- Jackson
A new chart for the Heart Family is coming soon but again I can’t post until right before Stealing Innocence III due to the fact I have some highly intelligent readers and they’ll figure out the plot before I write the book.
Now I know I’m missing the boys from Mistaken Identity III also, but I’ll get to that when I finish up that book.
If you guys have more to add, please feel free to correct me in the comments or add what you feel is necessary.
Check out the bookstore for the books you don’t have. Collect them all because you never know what you’re missing.

Hi Ms. Sylvia,
I for one thought I was going to catch something in your post about the family tree. Well, I guess you know your readers well. That’s why we love you so much, you are always thinking. I like this post and look forward to the new and exciting novels. Keep up the good work, you are doing great!!!!!!
I did give a little away on some things I’m working on.
I love your black famiy. U make men so fine.
If i haven’t said this before, my men come from a combinatin of my dad, my high school best friend (a guy) and two other close friends who act just like Jaelen and Lethal. I swear.
