This book was wonderfully written by Ms. Hubbard. It takes the reader into a world that many has thought of before and never vintured into. While the concept maynot be pleasing to some, the material is enlightening. I, as a reader, enjoys Ms. Hubbard’s style of writing and am an faithful purchaser of her novels. I have read the original version of this novel, and I am very pleased with the new tweaks Ms. Hubbard has made. I say BRAVO, Ms. Hubbard, pat yourself on the back. You have done it again and created a masterpiece. I can’t wait until book II comes out.

  2. Giiiiiiiirrrrrrl! This book has soooo much potential for the story to go in sooo many different directions…pls pls pls have fun the way you only know how…I look forward to rcving ur literary blessing daaaawlin’ smh (southern speak)

  3. O ok I forgot…The book is definitely a cliff hanger…I don’t know if this mysterious man wants to care for the main character or finally reinvent the 19th century with what he feels is a deserving exotica….let me know Sylvia …let me know lol (very well written and well played out scenes w/in story line)

  4. I also love this cover for book 2. The red and black contrast gives it that popping look, and the handcuffs gives it that intriguing look that catches the reader’s attention. The reader can truely see the mystery behind the scenes, I know I can. Keep up the good work Ms. Sylvia, I am patiently waiting for the next installment. Happy Valentine’s Day to you and yours.

    Your loyal fan,
    Stephanie

  7. He is a PUNk! A Punked Out WOOOOS!!!Sorry grew up with rich white men and his Acquiesce to his fathers opinion is just about dead on…..Um..Yeah the Hearts need to get involved ASAP cause I don’t know if I can take much more of this 50 shades of gray girl. Needing Book III to find personal closure. LOL! But did you mean upon retirement the girls get !00,000.00 and bonus, bc to work 10 yrs of abuse for 1,000.00 doesn’t seem believable…Please let me know…I re read it in my head as the first stated amount so that I can continue to read the story. Im just sayin that girl can’t be holding back tears for 7 more years looking forward to a thousand dollars…Great Story Great Job Way to get the readers heart soul and intellect involved. 🙂

    1. i wanted to make his character believable.

And guilt is a MF’er to a person’s soul, especially when it comes to family.

Philippe has a lot of guilt on his soul and as much as he wants to resist he feels he owes his family more than his happiness.

Yeah, he punked that, but I too met a lot of men who do it and i wanted to throw that in the story.
