No passwords needed and I know some of you are doing the happy dance.
But just as I promised I would if I didn’t get an offer by the end of the year, I’d release The Mysterious Mr. Black in it’s first round pre-draft.
I know the majority of you just want to read the end of the story and the rest just love the Black Family Series.
Well here it is. Enjoy, review the story and I will hope you gift it through Smashwords for your friends in this Christmas year.
I do believe the Black Family Line is finished and now I just have to concentrate on the Lotts, Bellinis and Hearts.

I just completed reading The Mysterious Mr. Black and I must say that it is one of those novels that one should not judge based off of the cover nor the description. This story runs through a variety of genres from suspense, mystery, romance, to comedy. In the beginning I did not quite understand how the story line would develop, but page by page it started to unfold. Ms. Hubbard, you really got into the heads and hearts of your characters and gave us a great story. I really enjoyed the way in which you developed Jen’s character from victim to heroine. For me, all of the bad things were a bit much to bare, but in the end she overcame. That scene where she meets Mr. Black after the car breaks down is epic. Iol. How dare he make love to her right under her husband’s nose! BOL. But hey, he saw what he wanted it and got it, literally. The way he spoke to Jen and treated her made me want to wring his neck, but after learning about his past, I can understand (somewhat). Those were very traumatic experiences, but I am happy that with the help of Jen he was sort of able to face those skeletons which enabled him to love and in return be loved. That Xhan is a sneaky SOB, but I like him. I do want Mr. Black to receive help, but there is a part of me that wants Xavier and Xhan to coexist because it seems like the perfect balance. Not to mention, what woman wouldn’t a strong, educated, professional Black man with Brownish-Grey eyes?! Anyway, I enjoyed this story thoroughly and will be reading Love Like This Next. Will there be a sequel to Xavier and Jen’s life? Also, can you tell me the order in which the books go so that I can read up on the family/families up until this point? Please and Thank you. Again Ms. Hubbard, job well done!!!
Mercedes, I loved what you said about Ms. Sylvia’s writing. I always said that she is an author that can evoked every emotion from her readers and then some. She does this in every book. She is a phenominal writer. Her novels takes you places where you never thought you would go. Keep doing what you are doing Ms. Sylvia.
most importantly, i want to take a reader inside of themselves and make them really consider, what wld you do in this situation.
i love the what if in life and if we decide to turn down that dark road or we are on the dark road can an HEA really happen?
