Talking about the back stuff—the behind-the-scenes stuff that takes me away from writing is really hard, but here goes.
I’m moving some stuff around on my site and trying to make Gumroad my primary place to buy my work. I’ve learned to convert my shop (sylviahubbard.com/shop) so that ALL books are pulled over from my Gumroad site.
At the point of this published post, I have one more book to go – Diamonds in the Rough, and then I’ll start adding all the rest of the books that I have out there. It’s a tough road.
New stuff added recently is:
- The Murderer’s Lover – $0.00 – the unfinished is now free. Once I start working on it again, I’ll add the price again. It’s only fair.
- Cross Her Heart; Hope He Dies – $0.00. This is a reader’s magnet. A short suspenseful noir.
- Reader Treats – starting at $8.99. There are three varieties readers can order for themselves or a friend – or lots of friends. There will be more variations, but currently, it’s Forbidden Fruit, Mistaken Identity & Dreams of Reality.
- Diary of A… $1.99 It’s a backlister that’s still a fan favorite, and I recently updated the promo on it and that paperback to Groundwood, so the shipping cost is less.
- Buy Me A Coffee – with Gumroad being my official store, I wanted to put the little tip items here as well, and this is a great way to support me while I work without me doing a lot of things at tax time.
- Silent Lynx – $0.00 A freebie as I try to get all the Heart of Detroit series in one place so I can get the freebie. I think the last one left is Emperor’s Addiction/Heart.
I know it’s a bit confusing, but the WooCommerce e-commerce platform was giving me flux, so when I found a workaround that would also display from Gumroad, I was like, bet! I’ll be making a nonfiction shop store as well on this site so people can understand I’m not just a fiction girlie.
I’ll be adding audio to a lot of these books, which will make it more fun for you to download here than anywhere else because you’ll get the audio with each purchase.
Here are other updates I’ve made in the past; I’ve made updates as well.
- I’ll add the authorgraph paperback of The Mysterious Mr. Black when ready. It’ll be a 30-dollar value cause it’ll have some treats and reader gifts.
- Let Me Love You is New. The full book is there. Yes, the ending… so grab that sucka now! Once I push it to the professional designer, the price will go up
- His Substitute Wife … My Sister is both books. You don’t have to purchase both books in the other stores, but just one book here.
- The Car Camping Writers Retreat… well that’s going to be my signature annual event. This is our 2nd one, and we’re only accepting 12 people. Two tickets have already been sold, so I’m pretty pumped about that.
Other books are slowly coming over, so have some patience, and then I’ll be able to offer bundles as well. My end goal with all of this is for old and new readers who I know are awaiting them.
