Even though this interview was eight years ago, the conversation holds true to our actions and what we need to do to strengthen our young males, literacy levels and our relationships.

I want to thank Mr. Hardwick for his honesty and truthfulness and most of all the passion he evokes and how he continuously shows his love for the black community through his art.

My picture with him from the movie viewing got lost in time. It was on my BFF’s cell phone and I always told myself I had time to ask for the picture, but unfortunately as my readers know she passed this year from natural causes.

From this movie and from losing the picture, I guess I learned that don’t waste a single day and use every opportunity for happiness not misery.
