Ten Interview Questions for The Next Big Thing:
Q: What is the working title of your book?
A: Wicked Chances. I’m setting it up for NaNoWriMo.org and truly excited about the potential of the story line.
Q: Where did the idea come from for the book?
A: Hearing stories of abuse as we acknowledge Domestic Violence Awareness Month in October truly brought the story to life.
Q: What genre does your book fall under?
A: Romance Suspense
Q: Which actors would you choose to play your characters in a movie rendition?
A: Boy that’s a tough question. I would say Luke Goss as the male protagonist (but only because I’ve been having fantasies about him lately) and for the female character, she’d have to be a mixture of black and either Arabic or Hispanic.
Q: What is the one-sentence synopsis of your book?
A: A woman with her children on the run from her past swears never to be another man’s whore
Q: Will your book be self-published or represented by an agency?
A: It’s going to be a work in progress for National Novel Writing Month (NaNoWriMo.org) and then I will most likely independent publish it exclusively over on Amazon.
Q: How long did it take you to write the first draft of your manuscript?
A: I haven’t started the first draft, but actually the first draft of 50-thousand words will be done in 30 days. With the terms of NaNoWriMo, I can’t start until November 1st, but I will be posting updates of the story on this blog so my readers can actually read the story while I write. I hope others who are following the blog hop will return on November 1st to start the journey with me.
Q: What other books would you compare this story to within your genre?
She Can Run by Melinda Leigh (Nov 28, 2011)

Q: Who or What inspired you to write this book?
A: Struggling of a single mother and how we survive, yet how we are constantly holding our own happiness at bay and making emotional sacrifices for our children.
Q: What else about your book might pique the reader’s interest?
A: Of course a spicy romance pops up in her journey and sub-characters from previous stories pop in as well.
