Going through Camp Nanowrimo.org isn’t just about getting to 50K book. It’s about pressing yourself to write a good story.
I suggest you keep up with the mail sent out by the Nanowrimo.org staff because it comes in handy.
These people have been doing it for a long time and they know what they’re doing.
So that’s why I listened to their advice about making something happen in the story. They said in order to increase the word count if I threw in an instance, something out of the ordinary a twist of fate or something, I would be able to increase the word count.
In my #livestory, I was able to “make something happen” and went from 8000 to almost 14k and I’m still writing all the while weaving everything into the original plot.
It’s amazing what a little advice can do.
I’ve just learned something nice about myself when it comes to my writing. I love advice.
Which why i was able to really kick my word counts butt this week!!
Now I’m still 3000 words behind schedule but I think I can jump the hoops and hurdles in a couple of days. I just have to keep focus.
Pray for me… 🙂
