You want to always write your bio in third person.
It’s like taking your resume and making a paragraph out of it.
Pick out all the interesting things that an editor woudl want to know right away and then accomplishments and then personal things.
See the following short bio I just did off the top.
Sylvia Hubbard, a suspense romance author, has independently published four paperback and over ten ebooks, with a traditional published novel, an anthology and to other paperbacks due out in this upcoming year. As founder of Motown Writers Network, Sylvia is an award winning author, recognized not only for her literary accomplishments, but also her community services for helping literacy. Residing in Detroit, she’s a single mother of three children.
You can include your main website or blog at the end as well.
