It’s been a while since I’ve posted an update like this.

And I should be doing this at least every six months, but it’s been a year. Online and offline.

Let’s start with the membership.

It dropped, but that’s because I overwhelmed myself, and then my links didn’t work. I went into a dark depression and chose to ignore it altogether. Once I started my livestory this year, the hubster got tired of my complaining and helped me fix a lot of my issues. Now I just have to get Gumroad back on track so I can get paid for everything I’m owed.

But at least now you can buy directly from me (my biggest angst), and my cart checkout goes to Gumroad and not WooCommerce. My store online still looks pretty, and I can add more to it. (More books are coming, I swear, and I’m going to put in drop ship on the site, and if you want it autographed, I can send you an autographed bookplate with reader treats.)

I’ve updated my Google Doc to include all my current books. As the membership grows, I think I’m going to just make sure people get updated versions of this document so if they decide to drop out, they just won’t get updated links.

I didn’t raise the price of my membership, but I did set it to pay what you want. I thought that instead of doing it book by book as I used to, people who listen to my videos or actually read things like this should get the benefits of that knowledge. To get a live book from me, you can pay what you want or get the whole book as a membership.

This helps me make a little income as I write, and then go from there.

Of course, there are other things you get if you pay for a whole-year membership, like the complete ePub of the book in your Gumroad library, and then you also get the end-of-the-year book box plus birthday treats. I hope to expand my membership as it grows, but for right now, that’s about all I can afford. Mailing is expensive… and getting more expensive. Hint… Hint… Hint… You can always help by telling a friend.

That’s about all the updates I can share, but I appreciate the support. I do wish I had more participation in terms of comments. I think I might reach out to beta readers for the next book.

I want to work on my Beventi site (where you can preorder books when I go to events) and also other review sites. Look out for a BookBub deal I hope to acquire in 2027. Saving my pesos as we speak.

Other Updates

I went through and updated the work-in-progress site with stories I’m working on or adding to. I hope to add many more stories to this site alone to benefit my members. I think that’s what I’m going to focus on – members and Kindle Unlimited stories. If readers find me, I’ll be happy.

If you are on Apple, Google, or even Kobo, let me know if you want me to add more books out there.

Links on my shop site will include those books with extended reach to make it easier for you guys to find me, but I’m going to use 2027 to focus on building my library in those two areas (mentioned above).

I don’t know if that sounds selfish, but I don’t want to be stretched thin anymore and then, when I fail, just get let go again. Does it sound like I’m preparing for failure? No, it just sounds like I’m preparing for things I can handle.
