Yes, I blog a lot. I like to take you on my literary journey or alert you to my many events. I love to share the ups and downs of writing.

But I know you don’t want me to fill up your email box, so if you’d like to get these on a weekly basis, follow these instructions.

To get weekly alerts from a WordPress.com blog, manage your subscriptions in the WordPress Reader by setting the email frequency to “Weekly” for specific blogs. Log in to your WordPress.com account, go to the Reader (top-left), click “Manage subscriptions,” select the three dots next to the blog, and adjust settings. WordPress.comWordPress.com

Steps to Subscribe with Weekly Alerts:

  • Log in to your WordPress.com account.
  • Navigate to the Reader icon (top-left).
  • Click Manage Subscriptions in the left-hand sidebar.
  • Find the blog and click the three dots to open options.

Alternative Methods:

  • Browser Notifications: In your notification settings, toggle on browser notifications for real-time updates.
  • Plugin Alerts (Self-Hosted/Business): Use plugins like “WP Updates Notifier” to customize email alerts for post updates.
  • Newsletter Tool: Use tools like “Simple Newsletter” or WordPress.com’s built-in subscriber email feature to send customized updates.
