Chapter 20.2 The Slut

As she was returning from finalizing the paperwork for the trust with her lawyer, Sinclaire Bowman, and picking up the keys at the landbank for the new property, she pulled in her driveway to see her sister standing at her door.

Before leaving that morning, Tori toured the new sheds and couldn’t stop smiling at each detail, wall, and panel. Beck came with her, still trying to find something wrong with anything.

“They look well built, Beck. I can’t complain, and you can funnel the money I paid towards the new address. I’ll order a shed to be built-“

“Wait,” Beck said, looking at the floor and frowning. “This isn’t the original floor that was delivered with this shed.”

“Is that bad?” she asked worriedly.

“Fuck, no. It’s a better floor, but why would they change it?”

Tori knew thsi was rhetorical. Her experience with quality building materials was beyond her range. “They really like me?”

Beck snorted derogatorily. “Those boys never do anything unless it’s an end goal to make them feel like their family or connected and shit.” He touched the floor as if that would give him the answer. After another moment, he cursed viciously again and stormed out.

Tori shrilled in delight at what the Carter Brothers had done for her. As she was walking out of the sheds, she saw Malea arriving, and the joy she was feeling was immediately sucked away.

She really didn’t want to speak with her sister at that moment, not when she had so much to do, including getting her hair done later in the afternoon, and finding a dress for her surprise wedding. If she was going to show up at the Cosgrove’s, she wanted to look incredible.

“Since you don’t answer your phone as soon as I return to town, I came over to see you,” Malea explained, looking worse for wear. There was a pale, sickly complexion over her sister’s skin, and her eyes looked a bit sunken in with dark marks underneath.

“How far was that conference? You look like you crossed five time zones.”

“I haven’t been sleeping a lot lately.”

“Guilt does that,” Tori shot out, walking past her sister to go into her home.

Malea pouted as she followed her inside. “Tori, I know what I’ve done. And I know it could potentially destroy my family if this gets out, but you can’t understand how depressed I’ve been.”

“And that’s why you have a husband. He’s there for you. You have a family, Malea – somewhere to look to when in times of need.”

“Scott has been busy trying to better our life for when we want to retire and the kids… well, they were on their way to college, and I didn’t want to burden them.”

After turning off the security and flipping through her mail, Tori asked, “Are you still doing it?”

“No. I told you I’d stop. Jeez, you act like Dad sometimes. Always judgmental. Always pushing for perfection.”

Tori didn’t know that side of her father so she couldn’t agree or disagree with her sister’s statement. “Why are you here, Malea? I have a lot of work to do.” She progressed to the kitchen to see that Duncan had been up all night cooking dinner for her. There were three pasta with chicken meals in her freezer that she could warm up for dinner tonight, and he’d cut up some more fruit bowls.

“Like what? Run your little real estate empire? Where’d you get all those groceries?”

Usually, her refrigerator and freezer were empty, but Duncan had been taking good care of her. Tori could not tell Malea that.

“I had time,” she said. Time to fuck all three brothers while you were gone!

“You hired someone to come cook and shop for you?” Malea asked, her voice dripping with jealousy.

Tori only shrugged, not wanting to bury herself in a bunch of lies she would have to dig her way out of, and turned to the microwave to warm her meal. “Why’d you come, Malea? I already agreed to keep my mouth shut about Norman.”

“What’s going on with you, Tori? You look… different.”

Tori kept her back to her sister on purpose so she couldn’t show a guilt-ridden face. “What do you mean?”

Malea moved to the side of Tori closely. “Don’t give me that shit? I haven’t seen you glow like this since Daddy was alive. What have you done?” Narrowing her eyes suspiciously, she demanded, “Did you look through Daddy’s stuff? You found more money?”

“Maybe I’m happy the projects are going better. I might get historical status.”

“That decrepit, smelly old school?” Malea sucked her teeth in disgust. “That’s just stupid.”

“It sounds crazy, but I have an electrician coming to certify everything, and once I sit with a couple of my contacts I made at that lunch for Mrs. Cosgrove all next weekend, I think I could really expand on this plan. More of these residences are needed in the city, given the growing geriatric community, and there aren’t many who are familiar with the intricacies of these medically and legally, as I am. I’m really excited about the possibilities, Malea.”

“Possibilities that I helped make happen. If I hadn’t gotten Shawn this opportunity, you wouldn’t be glowing like a lightbulb,” her sister raged.

As usual, Tori was sick and tired of her sister raining on her parade. “Just because your life is going like shit, that’s no reason to dim the light on what’s happening to me, Malea.”

Malea seemed remorseful. “You’re right. I’m experiencing a lot of stress, and I know it’s mostly my fault. However, there are the kids’ college living expenses, Scott’s business failure, and Norman’s quiet threats, which have intensified since he can’t see me. I’m just frustrated.”

“Why don’t you just press charges against him?”

“Yeah, and the whole board will know? I can’t do that. Honestly, it’s kinda nice to be obsessed with. I know you don’t know about that kind of thing, but it’s just so much fun when a guy wants to eat you out, wants to bury himself in you all the time, and can’t get enough of you.”

She tried to look disgusted, not delighted, because she had started thinking about Shawn, Duncan, and Kevin. “Doesn’t your husband do all that?”

“Yeah, but when you get attention from multiple guys, it’s just even more wicked, and I know it’s so bad.” She sighed. “You’ll just never understand how it feels to be adored by a lot of men at once, Tori, and I kind of feel sad for you.”

Tori noticed her sister didn’t sound sad at all, and Malea even had a wicked smirk on her face, like she was enjoying that Tori was lonely.

“Has anything at least surfaced a little with Shawn?” Malea inquired.

“Nothing to shout from the roof about. He’s excited about the Cosgrove dinner.”

“Oh, that’s going to be fun. I just got an invitation from Mrs. Cosgrove personally. She said I needed to be there for the festivities, even though I have no idea what that means.”

Quickly stuffing the warmed food in her mouth to stop herself from speaking, Tori went over to the refrigerator to get some distance from her sister.

“What the hell are you drinking?!” Malea cried.

Tori looked down at the water bottle as if she had snatched the whiskey out of the freezer. “What?”

“Water, Tori? You hate water! What the hell is wrong with you?”

Tori took another swig of the water bottle. “I’ve come to like it lately.”

“There’s something seriously wrong with you. Is it stress from all this? I thought you’d be comfortable with this fake husband-to-be thing.”

“I’m okay with it, and no, the boys aren’t bothering me.”

Malea chuckled. “I didn’t ask about that. You haven’t called them the boys since you were little. That’s funny, hearing you use that term for them again.”

Changing the subject to get off of her, Tori asked, “You said there’s something wrong with the kids’ living expenses?”

“It’s going up next semester – almost doubled. Scott and I have been thinking of asking one of them to hold off on college until the other graduates.”

“That’s not fair.”

“I know, but there’s so much debt, and we need to find ways to relieve it.”

“But they received an academic scholarship. That can’t be put on hold.”

“Yeah, academic,” her sister growled disgustedly.”By the time one of them finishes, we will have found enough money to send the other one all the way on our own without scholarships. “

Tori countered, “Well, it would have been more than academic, but remember you told me to stop pursuing all the other ones because at that time you had the rest covered and you didn’t want them to look like some charity case.”

“I know at the time we were fine, but things got worse than what I expected. So, we have to pay out for the dorm expenses and all the other miscellaneous items they have going on. Jesus, Selia wants to take some silly rug class like you.”

“That was so beneficial, and it’s so relaxing. Let me look up scholarships before we proceed. I wish you’d told me about this difficulty long before this, Malea. Closed mouths don’t get fed.”

“There you go sounding like Daddy again.”

Tori faked a yawn. “I’m going to take a nap. I’ll do all the research by the barbecue next week, so don’t make any hasty decisions.”

Malea started to leave but halted at the kitchen doorway and turned around. “Did you say anything to Scott about the investment?”

That gut punch almost took her out. Dammit! Malea was almost out the door. “Yes,” she answered. “And I had to give him the best advice because if I didn’t, he’d see for himself.”

“Tori! Scott doesn’t know shit about anything.”

“I think your husband is smarter than you think he is. He’s relying on good advice, and I couldn’t in my right mind tell him differently. I could also do some research on some small business grants and help him come up with the money.”

“You could?”

“I helped get the academic scholarship, so I think I can go and look for some grants, especially since you guys live in Detroit and there are still a lot of diversity grants around.”

“Can you get them in my name? I don’t want Scott-“

“I’ll do what I can to help you look like a rose when you really smell like shit, Malea, but I won’t commit fraud,” Tori said, cutting her off sternly.

“Okay, well, at least if you can just get me the research, and I’ll help you go through all the material.”

She had a feeling her sister had other intentions, but she only nodded just to get Malea out of the door. After freshening up, she rushed over to the hairdressers and found a perfect dress at a local boutique that could deliver it in the morning. Knowing what she was going to wear, she could have her two strands designed to complement her dress, with silver diamond balls randomly placed in her hair to accentuate her long neck, doe-brown eyes, and heart-shaped face.

The hairdresser noticed the significant love marks on Tori’s neck and gave a disapproving look, but didn’t say anything.

Tori was glad she had worn a long-sleeved shirt so the hairdresser couldn’t see the bite mark either. Getting home, she cleaned the kitchen, wrapped her hair to make it look just as beautiful for tomorrow’s dinner, and then went up to her room to change out of her clothes.

Immediately, she noticed her bed was made, but she pulled back the covers and pressed her face against the pillow where Duncan had been lying. His scent was thick. He had used the downstairs body wash to clean up, but she could remember lying on his chest all night listening to his steady, quiet heartbeat. Moving over to where Kevin had been lying, she chuckled because she could tell the difference immediately. Finally, she lay down where Shawn’s lean body had been curled up at the end of the bed, and she drove her nose into the mattress as her body was starting to respond to remembering what these men could do to her.

Jamming her hand down into her panties, she rolled on her stomach, pressed her thighs together, and for twenty minutes, she relived all the sexual encounters for the past couple of days with them. It didn’t take long, even though she liked to hold off a little until… all she had to do was envision them kissing her body in different places simultaneously… and then… the jerking made the bed squeak loudly.

Ugh… their weight and all the activity had jacked up the alignment on her bed.

When she’d calmed her heart enough to get back up, she went into her crafting room feeling inspired to finish up the piece she’d been working on yesterday and make a new piece.

By two in the morning, she was feeling a braingasm as well, and whirled herself into bed after a quick shower, wishing ‘the boys’ were here again, tucking her in and keeping her warm.

‘You’ll just never understand how it feels to be adored by a lot of men at once, Tori, and I kind of feel sad for you.’

Man, how Tori wanted to scream out, “I fucked three men at once!”

“Tori,” she heard Duncan whisper.

Was she dreaming again?

“She’s going to kill us,” Kevin snarled.

She wasn’t dreaming!

Her eyes fluttered, and only the light from her hallway was on, but she could see three prominent figures over her bed. Scrambling to the headboard, she pulled the covers over her body, remembering the first time all three of them were in the room with her.

Shawn immediately moved to the right side of the bed. “Shhh… we didn’t mean to scare you, love.”

“Oh no, you aren’t doing this to me, again! I’m wide awake now,” she hissed. “This is getting ridiculous. How?”

“You gave us the access key,” Shawn answered.

“I told you she was going to kill us,” Kevin said.

“You said to talk with you,” Duncan said. “And that’s what we’re doing?”

Tori looked at each one of them and took a deep breath. Didn’t she dream of wanting this?

“We have a big day tomorrow,” she insisted.

Kevin explained, “We just wanted to sleep, again with you, and we’ll keep our clothes on and leave before that stupid foreman gets here.”

Gawd, could they be any sweeter?

“Fine,” she said.

Shawn started to lie down, but Kevin grabbed him by his collar and shoved him down to the end of the bed, while Duncan moved to her other side. Just like last night, they got into position over her body, and she settled down in the bed with all of them. She looked up at Duncan, and he kissed her softly. Then she turned to Kevin, and he kissed her roughly. Afterwards, she looked down at Shawn, who raised and kissed her with a mix of softness and wildness.

This was so dangerous to get used to, but Tori knew she would sleep so well!
