Facing her as he dried his hands, he asked, “Tell you what?”

“About the past?”

Sighing, he put the towel down, trying to find a way to formulate his words where he wouldn’t have a lot of explaining to do. To Rob it had been never when he had to explain himself to anyone. Hardly anyone in his life now knew the truth of what he had done to deserve this punishment.

Yet the truth of what he did was always on the crest of his tongue. This was why he took the punishment as it was, because in every sense of the world, he deserved what he was suffering now.

“You aren’t going to-“

“Shut up,” he snapped facing her.

She looked a little put out, but she did as he ordered.

After taking another deep breath and seeing her walk over to the stove to attend to the food, he said, “I hurt some people a long time ago.”

“Intentionally?” she asked.

“Some. Others I would have to say, I might have had no control over what I was doing.”

“You deliberately wanted some people to be hurt?” she asked again with skepticism.

  1. Very nice… I wonder where you are heading with Rob’s past, I’m hooked and loving every moment. Thank you for sharing your hard work. Speaking of great stories, what happened to the other side of love, I’m a newbie on this site so I was following the story till chapter 12 and now there’s the new drug(Diamond in the rough) and I still have this incomplete story in my head.

  2. Keep it going!!! This is getting good. Still trying to figure out what is wrong with him.

  3. You ever wonder why some people punish his or herself when they don’t deserve it and the ones that do don’t. I can’t wait to find out why Rob believe he deserve that type of punishment.

  4. I agree with Tori and Cinquetta. I REALLY REALLY REALLY want to know more about Rob’s mysterious past. What could his father have done to make him the way that he is. To have to take meds in order to keep himself in line? What kind of person would do that to a child?????
