I applaud you for challenging yourself this way, Sylvia. For spreading your wings in different directions, for stretching yourself. Good for you.
Although the Christian/Inspirational genre comes more natural to me, I felt the same way you do now when I wrote my first western. Sheesh! I made it through that first one though, found it quite enjoyable, and then wrote another. Got 4 until my belt now. *giggling*
