From the bottom of my heart, thank you. Because of you, BRAE 2025 was an incredible success, welcoming over 254,000 visitors to the site and celebrating more than 1.1 million book downloads. Those numbers reflect more than just participation. They represent connection, creativity, and the power of Black voices in literature.
Each of you played an essential role in this moment. You showed up, shared your work, and trusted this platform to help your stories reach readers around the world. Your commitment reminds us all why BRAE exists: to give space, visibility, and honor to the words and worlds that we create.
But remember, BRAE is just the beginning. The next steps are crucial:
- Keep engaging with your audience.
- Encourage readers to turn the pages and finish your books.
- Remind them to leave a review.
Your stories are too good, too powerful, and too important not to be recognized, received, and valued. Every word you’ve written is part of a greater narrative, one that says our stories matter, our creativity is limitless, and our voices will not be silenced.
Together, we are not just telling stories – we are making history.
