How can this become a happily ever after when everything is doomed?

This is the question I am asking myself because I’ve set her up to fail.

I know I always root for the HEA, but this hot mess Tori has gotten herself in, I don’t know if I can.

And it’s so much! Ohh boy.

I must calm myself down, stay focused, and finish it. I know.

Where am I in the story? We’re on the midpoint – Where it’s going into doom and gloom.

Tori knows she can’t have what she wants, but can’t stop wanting it.

Could manipulation work one more time, even though she’s sworn never to do it anymore?
