With the release of Delilah’s Desire pushed back to November 1st (see last weeks for details and the reader’s treats if you’ve gotten all three parts) I was able to dive deep into my Halloween story while still adding chapters to Her Husband… His Brothers.

This weekend I’ll be going car camping. I’ve taken my love for camping and writing and created an event that will help me and other writers improve ourselves, connect and how to camp.

I’m creating short videos about how am getting things together – as I get things together. My house looks a mess, because there’s so much that goes into this. And I’ve even taken Thursday and Friday off to pack up the participant bags, cook the chili for Saturday night’s all participants dinner and then put any final touches on my window coverings.

If you can’t guess, I’m excited.

As I mentioned, I hope to take more pictures and videos this time around.

And lastly, I’m back to prepping 101

I’m teaching myself how to make sourdough starter so I can make sourdough bread.

You ask why?

Went to the grocery store last week and not only was I a bit peeved that the sourdough and rye bread went up several dollars, but there were very few quality selections.

I have a bread maker, I have the flour, water, salt and butter and then I even had the sourdough starter kit. So why can’t I do it? What’s preventing me?

Nothing.

And what better time to start? At the beginning of a recession. So I can get ahead in the game and be able to provide bread for my husband and even my kids.
