That time a book club featured my book Wicked Chances #southfieldlibrary #michlit #writerslife #syllit Not Your Average Fiction Book Club

i haven’t had this much fun going to a book club meeting in a long time

How it went:

On a nice Wednesday, at 630 p.m., the Southfield library’s meeting room was open for us to sit and chat. Pizza, pop, and water were available, and two of the members were already there before it was time.

After I set up, I took a seat and had a bite to eat, knowing I didn’t want to munch while talking later.

As the other members arrived, I greeted them, including giving a big hug to the hostess and some other members who knew me from different events.

We pretty much discuss general things that were going on, current events, and so forth, and promptly started at

I was pleasantly surprised there were men in for the discussion. One male reader said he couldn’t believe (and he’d read other romances before) this was a romance but it had a happily ever after even though I kept it going all the way to end.

The group agreed they enjoy the main characters and they had a lot of questions about the beginning of the book – the mysterious sexual world where Blair was introduced – and also about Shadow.

All in all, it was a two hour lively discussion where I could interject why I wrote the book, how I wrote the book and what I hoped for the book.

i hope to have more about other books that I wrote so if you’d like me to come to your book club meeting please contact me.

I wanna thank Gabby from EyeCU reading group for recommending my book and also Ebony from the group for her encouraging comments!
