Working at the camp.  Loving this story Let Me Love You #wip #syllit #writerlife : Most of my day in pics

I was trying to take a photo day with the pictures on this day. It was a nice September at the camp and I have been trying to get some nice pics of me in, so here ya go.

I’m wearing my favorite dress at the time. I’m so upset I only bought one of these, and I have no idea where I bought it from. But I want another one because I wear this one all the time. (I just went on Shein and found another one like it… yes, I’m bad.)

In case you didn’t know, we’re on solar and rain collection at the camp because we’re not hard-wired anywhere. Anything we get is literally from God out here; it just makes you feel closer to nature. That’s my little writing shed, and in the summer, it’s fantastic, but in the winter, it’s colder than a witch’s tit.

But I love how my husband has made it comfortable for me. I’m blessed and spoiled.

Where I write most of the time.

True, I have my writing shed, but most times, I set up in the RV’s booth, look out the window despite the cords, and write.

Excuse the mess, but I don’t mind it. I enjoy sitting right by a heater by my legs in the winter while I keep the fan on in the summer.

We don’t need to run the air except on days over 90 when it’s baking in the RV. Other than that, we have screened in everything, and the RV is parked in a pretty nice spot around a clearing with trees.

I kept a notebook on me to keep track of the rampant things to do in my head, and today, I needed to work on my hair. Moisturizing it is necessary all the time.

So after writing, I put things around me to remind myself I have things to do.

And people wonder what does my hubby do while I’m writing.

He doesn’t bother me. Today, he worked on the million-and-one wood piles around our camp.

He built a log holder (and I know it’s another name for that) and then stocked it with cut-up wood.

We don’t have a wood stove, but we have a firepit.

It’s nice that sometimes we have nights to sit outside and toss wood on the fire or enjoy a sunset together by the fire.

I wrote some more for the rest of the day and then got ready for movie night with my husband.

The whole week was one big log vacation, even though we were only three hours away from home (Detroit). But every time we come out here, this is our life, and we just enjoy each other and the outside as much as possible.

Of course, being a city girl, I do it from the comfort of the RV, and I like the fact that my husband doesn’t mind.

We’ll walk the trail behind the RV and then might go out for gas. We have enough food and room in the refrigerator to last us about two to three weeks if we want to, and I hope we can stay out here for longer stretches once he gets his work days together.

We’ll see, and I’ll keep you guys updated.

Okay, more writing.
