During the live writing process, I explore my fiction writing process, live versus not live, and how I work with alpha readers. When readers get into my author’s notes, I also talk a little bit about how I feel about criticism of my writing.
(Being open, but vulnerable.)
About the story: (short description. Click here for longer)
“Let Me Love You” is not just a tale of love and sacrifice but also a poignant story of self-discovery, celebrating the human capacity to find love in the most unlikely of circumstances.

Let Me Love You really just started with a scene in the rain, and then El started talking with me. We had long conversations about how complex he was and what he needed in order to be loved and feel loved. I saw a complex man desperately searching for something unattainable, but I’m always up to the challenge of a HEA, and that’s what I wanted for him.
Now, I know you’re going to come at me and say Iris is weak, and she allowed all this stuff to happen, but when the weakness was a shield to keep her sane, there’s something else. We all have our weaknesses, and some hide them better than others.
Iris had so much going on from things her brain chose to hide from her that she wouldn’t have been able to handle El in the beginning if her brain had not done that. Sometimes, we have to face the past when we are strong enough to handle it.
