I created this event page to selfishly help myself keep track of where I’m supposed to be. As I become busier by the hour, my assistant has started to ask for my calendar and I said what the heck, might as well let you (fans, readers & visitors) know as well, right?

I am pledging to keep this page updated at least on a weekly to bi-weekly basis. I hope soon I will get so busy, I’ll have to get an assistant to do just that. All the old events will go in the bottom listed there so you can see the type of workshops that I do in case you’re interested in booking me. (hint, hint, hint)

    • Time: 2:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.
    • VIP Experience: 1:30 p.m. – 2:00 p.m.
  • Purpose of the Event:
    • Promote literacy within the community
    • Provide accountability, resources, and support
    • Equip aspiring and published authors with tools for writing, publishing, and promotion
  • Speaker Overview:
    • Each speaker will present for 10–15 minutes
    • A Q&A panel discussion will follow
      • Michelle Dawson: Getting started on the writing journey and believing in your vision
      • Osnita: Self-etiquette and walking in authority while completing your book
      • Mrs. Hubbard: Book distribution beyond Amazon KDP (i.e., IngramSpark), alternative formats (eBooks), income streams through subscriptions, marketing and blogging strategies, and author networking opportunities
  • Additional Details:
    • VIP attendees will receive a swag bag including one literary work from each speaker
    • Light refreshments will be provided
    • General admission attendees will have access to a QR code for downloadable resources and consulting opportunities
    • All speakers will have the opportunity to sell their book(s)
