I hope that whatever Sterling has brewing doesn’t cost him Blair. When will he figure out shadow and Blair are related? I’m ready for more reading!!!!
Ok I am really trying to find the connection between Blair and Zilla. Which parent of Blair was Arabic? Unless her father was a Heart I am at a lost. Zilla is losing control of the situation but I love how protective she is of Blair.
Yes Sterling got his butt handed to him by a 16 year old. Zilla is a true Heart but which Heart does she belong to? I still want to stay Onyx but she could be Lethal’s daughter also. Just awaiting for the chips to fall into place. (Sigh)
Sterling can not out smart Shadow especially since she knows Dwight is close to KH. She’s not going to let her guard down.

I’m confused by the conversation between Shadow and Sterling…what is he referencing he asks, “Was her last words those?” he demanded to know. “Did she curse me? Did she even apologize for what she did to me?” More importantly, why would Sterling even engage his nemesis in a conversation about his past…this doesn’t seem like the actions of a man known for being hard as bricks. Also, a couple of corrections…if Shadow went to juvenile detention for assault, it wouldn’t be a slap on the wrist and out in two days, she would be locked up and given her history – most likely made a ward of the court. Please correct juggler with jugular vein.
I hope Sterling isn’t crazy enough to get King H involved. Don’t he know Kung doesn’t play by the rules? He need to keep him promise to Blair or she will hit the road. I wouldn’t blame her one bit if she did. If a person will lie once they will lie twice and you will never know if you can truly trust them.
Can’t wait for Chapters #31, #32, #33, etc….sorry to bring up such an irrelevant point right here but I just hate the cover pic of Sterling (?)…he looks like about a B cup and is the farthest thing from handsome. Now back to relevancy….great story Sylvia as usual. Some points were confusing but another poster already commented on it. Keep up the good work you never fail to keep us on the edge of our seats!
I can’t wait for someone to really check Shadow. My patience is wearing thin. The conversation between Sterling & Shadow was a bit confusing. How would Shadow know his mom & the text itself got mixed up in your rush. That flip Shadow gave sterling reminded me of Onyx. I’d like yo say Onyx is her mother. Blaque, king heart sister took the baby she thought was dead, but actually wasn’t. Blaque gave the baby to Sharlie. Shadow dad could be the connection go Blair … I’m just reaching Lol. Its driving me crazy. Sterling should have thrown king heart in shadow face to cool her off just to scare her so he didn’t have to break his promise to Blair.
