Hope Is Love – Author’s Note

I’m back in the saddle and pumping the word count like crazy.

We’re at 26 thousand words just in case you were interested and I’m trying my best to get you longer posts, but that’s what’s taking so long.

I can post the short updates fast, but the pressure of longer posts might take a moment.

anyhoo, my weekend was filled with thoughts of fighting.

If you’re a new reader, writing action is difficult for me. Other writers seem to do this with ease and then have a hard time with the love scenes. For me, it’s the opposite.

I had to involve Hope and James in some action this weekend and it wasn’t until I was in the middle of church service that the scene popped into my head so I could write it. I wanted to leave right then and start to write, but I had to wait and spent the majority of the rest of the day (after making turkey chilli for the kids so they could get out of my hair) typing on my alphasmart.

As most of you know, this has been my lifesaver and love for a little bit. She’s easy to handle and she gives great work for me in terms of portability and focus.

I’m able to just concentrate on the story at hand and put out what I need to put out without the worry of being overwhelmed at what’s going on the Internet.

So this is really just a note to let you know I should be posting soon and apologize for taking so long.
