Our Feature This Tuesday, December 5, 2006 Is: J.W. Baz From The 2006 Chicago Poetry Slam Team

A relative newcomer to the scene, J.W. Baz has grabbed onto the performance poetry world with both hands and taken many happy listeners with him, becoming a consistent Chicago slam winner and featured performer in multiple venues, including the legendary Green Mill. Armed with his confessional style, Baz tackles everything from searing social commentary to painfully honest introspection with a generous portion of intensity and a dash of dry wit.

Recently, Baz won the 2006 Rustbelt Regional Slam and finished in the Top Ten at the 2006 National Poetry Slam as a member of Team Chicago.
