Dwight “stuck on stupid face” I love it. I was laughing so hard, I had to read that part again. I can’t believe how fast Blair turned on Shadow. Did she not believe Shadow at the beginning of the story when she said her mother was Sharlie’s sister. This is getting good. I see the end leading us right into King’s, Lethal, Onyx, and Shadow’s stories. Keep up the good work Ms. Hubbard, you are doing great.

Author’s note: I would have posted this earlier, but for some reason my Google Chrome wouldn’t act right, so I had to switch to Firefox which works a little slower on my netbook.

BTW, this post is longer than other posts only because I couldn’t figure out where to cut it off at. It’s almost three thousand words while the others range between 1600 to 2500. Guess it’s a special treat for you very fast readers… probably not.

OMG !!! Loved, loved, LOVED IT! The Action Begins. It unfolded so vividly I needed some popcorn & Surround Sound. I just question why Paradise act like She wasn’t aware of King’s intentions when Dwight told her. Paradise already knew it was no longer about the money, it was the principle of the matter cuz she made him search so long for her. That’s what she told Jen in Mysterious Mr. Black when offered to help pay off the debt. I love a good Villian & that is exactly what Beautiful Angle Lucifer the Devil himself King is. I know I should’nt but I love his ruthless fine ass… Hey somebody has to. Lol… Hopefully he won’t kill them but I know someone has to die. Hopefully no one important. Maybe poor Mae. Not my main characters.

Please don’t kill a main a character. I agree S Dunn, let Mae be the one. Just thinking, can you imagine how there family reunion would look. Bullets, knives and blunt objects oh my no one would be safe.

OH YEAH!!!!!! This chapter is the BOMB!! I was at my daughter’s dance school waiting for her to finish and started to read the chapter, needless to say I did not pull out of the lot until I finished the chapter! It would’ve been dangerous to pull off and attempt to drive on the highway to get home to finish the chapter. So for the safety of all involved I stayed put and read the chapter in its entirety. lol I can definitely see this as a movie!!

Hopefully King will be the one to die… I hate to see a person who is so foul and evil yet allowed to roam freely inflicting harm and grief on so many innocents. Who but a worthless psychopath would threaten to peel the skin from children? Excuse me for not feeling empathy for King Heart, hopefully he will meet his well deserved end sooner than later!

I would be one of them! Lol. I absolutely love to hate King’s fine ass. He is the ultimate Villain your books need. King is that “sleeping” dog that is always waiting to attack. His bark & his bite is just as deadly & promising. Gotta have him. Its like not enjoying sunshine without rain. King is our rain we need occasionally…
and sometimes we welcome the “rain” without an umbrella. LOL. Y’all make me giggle when I read the “love to hate” thing.

King is that character that you love to hate. He is complex and at times shows mercy but turns around and reminds you not to take it for granted cuz he could just as easily kill you. I love it….@ Sylvia dont kill him , never had any interest in coming to Detroit but…….. LOL keep up the good work.

Your books can to be a soap opera. I am loving this book. Poor Blair, to find out about your family that way is horrible. King showed his true colors. Friendship doesn’t mean much to him when it comes to getting what he wants. So much has happened in such a short period of time.
