I just read Stone’s Revenge and I cannot believe this was suppose to be a romance. I was on the hero’s side until what he did to the heroine and it never changed, I hated him and was on her fathers side, he was a man wore and a heartless creep. He wanted revenge for the stupidest reasons. The jerk
The heroine was just as bad she became a slut for the man who raped her, not once but twice and the second time was worst than the first, but she thought it was so romantic, I stopped caring about her after that. She seriously needed mental help after that.
There was no love between them, no romance, no connection, at least not mentally or emotionally, all they had were sex and we all know you can get that anywhere, sometimes if you have the money. all they did was stay in her room and have sex, the talks had no meaning, no emotion behind them. They were wooden and dry. I started rooting for him to go to jail or die and wanted her to disappear for good. She was one dumb female.
The end was unsatisfying and left me cold. If what these two had is this author’s idea of love, if she sees nothing wrong with what he did and the type of relationship these two had then I won’t be reading anymore of her books.
Their relationship was just sick, very sick and unhealthy. now I will read a true romance to cheer myself up, because this was just depressing and left a bad taste in my mouth. Wasted money and time.
